Just to clarify, since the heading has some extra time info, Queensland does not (yet) join in the Daylight Saving game, so the Check-in is from 11:30 to midday Eastern Standard Time.

My clarification was in reference to the additional time, " (11:30 AM – 12:00 PM AEDT)" in the Topic.

"11:00 AM – 11:30 AM" local does not equal "11:30 AM – 12:00 PM AEDT"

"11:00 AM – 11:30 AM" local is in fact 12 midday to 12:30PM AEDT.

I hope I'm not being picky in my clarification.

"11:30~12:00 is the assumed check in window. Local Times apply." moves it back a half an hour.   :o

I wonder if there's a component of CST or CDST in the whole time issue?

I'll wait until closer the day to make my plan.

Wow I'm confused just reading this.

All check in times are local, always have been. It's your responsibility to figure the time zone and make allowance.

So a checkin time is posted as,
"1130 aim for 1100 all time zones are local"

I'm not sure what an assumed check in time is. This from some one who only see's two colours, black and white. :)

VLAD, too right.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, the check in window time is always the local time at the meet location.

As to the confusion, I've posted up the FarRide details as received but no check in window time was provided. I therefore made an assumption of what time the check in would be.

The actual check in time will need to be confirmed by the ride co-ordinator/s. I'll amend/confirm the time once I have that information.

I've got a lot of riding between now and then, but plan on going.  So I'm up for it, but no guarantees that I'll be there.  Won't have any confidence until the week before.
Oh, and the Check-in time will be 11:30 to 12:00, EST.   ;D

I'm planning on being at Hebel and hoping to bring a couple of nephews as well. Let's hope the rain stops first. ;D

The way the roads are out west tonight the rain had better stop soon or we'll need Army Ducks to get there.

I'm a little confused. If there is no need for a start docket for the remaining FarRides of this year why do you need a check in time. Why not just turn up around midday talk, eat, then go.

Having a "check in time" is so you all arrive around the same time, is how I see it.
