Details to follow - head to RiderMaster (https://rides.jasonjonas.com/index.php) to register from October 10.
Registered and I've got the 1st off work as well. Looking forward to it.
Registered, route planned and intend to do the full 1000km this time.
Bugger, it's just down the road from me. I have a 5 day ride to the NSW Alps planned.
Still planning my route. Tossing up between starting on the Friday mid day and finishing at the destination or starting later on the Friday and finishing at home same time Saturday. Decisions, decisions.
Hiya Taffey, just confirming check in time is 10:30- 11:00 ACST (11:00-11:30 Victorian time) ?
Was the plan to have lunch at the Inn?

No, check in time is 12 noon at the Hotel (Victorian time). So we can have a lunch to support the pub.
Cheers

Where are you staying?
The motel in Tintinara.
Just registered.
Good excuse for a relaxing ride to wear out a tyre, finish running in a bike and a little fellowship.
I got home last night after 1044 kilometers. Started from a servo in Edwardstown at 6pm on Friday and rode the first 200km to Tintinara where I had a motel room booked for the night. No road kill any where so felt it unlikely I'd see any live wildlife. Motel was basic, clean and cheap. Set off at 6:10 the next morning, 10 minutes late, and headed towards the Coorong. Only 8° C so a bit chilly. First refuel at Kingston SE and the bike had been warning of imminent lack of fuel for the final 30km. I checked Taffey's Spot and he was about 20 minutes behind me. The wind was beginning to get stronger and that proved to be the case for the rest of the day. I headed east through Penola to Casterton where I stopped for a comfort stop. This part of Victoria was lush and green. Somehow I'd made up time. Got under way to Edenhope and on to the Border Inn at Apsley. Met up with 4 fellow riders for a very enjoyable lunch and a lot of good conversation. Back on the road and it was getting hot and windier. Bike showed 36° C and the wind was a constant buffeting. By the time I was rolling into Adelaide the bike was again claiming fuel deprivation but it does seem a little over dramatic about this. I managed to avoid the cockatoos but some were not so lucky. A really enjoyable trip and my first on the Yamaha S10. Very happy with it. Thanks to Skidoo for all the maintenance tips and improvement recommendations.
Thanks for a great meetup guys, great lunch, venue and was entertaining.
ZigZag, I found your cockatoo and it's not happy, either is my RHS wind deflector. The cockatoo exploded on impact....
Until next time ride safe and enjoy life!
