No4 done and dusted. 1007km for the 24 hours.  It was perfect weather, still 25 degrees at 8 pm. Started lunch time on Friday and chalked up 970 km, well inside SS1600 pace. It was such a good ride, minimal traffic and flowed. Gotta love out roads. My wife Laura, pillioned with me to lunch and we met Matt (car) and Fatty Mick, who rode down. Lunch at Gretna was very ordinary but great to catch up, funnily enough 3 times a year.
This is not to start a "bag out commentary" but I pondered whilst riding, as to how one person could kill something he didn't start, for whatever reason, that was a beautiful thing.  On a positive note if I dont put three rides in the calendar, I wouldnt do them, so they'll keep coming.  Next on is 6 JULY at Scottsdale.

Yeah, I'm hearing you Carsten. I spend far too much time thinking along the same lines. Great to see the Tassie crew getting some rides in.

I wonder what he's doing with his millions now.  Last I heard he had bought a cattle station and was getting his helicopter licence.  And he'd bought a boat and presumably a boat licence.  And does he ever think about us?  ::)
