Not here that I'm aware of.
Just turn up around 12 noon, then you'll have time to socialise and watch some others on wonderful machines arrive. Then dine with everyone.....I'm assuming there will be some sort of dinner for everyone.
Accomodation sorted, well at least on the way West, and Friday and Saturday nights at BV. After that who knows?
Is it timed? Or just turn up at border village

You can just turn up around 12 noon on Saturday and spend the rest of the afternoon & night catching up with old friends and making new ones.
OR you can register for a specific ride that is available on this forum, if a registration process is available....eg. FR 800, 1000, 1200 or go for it and do a SS1600 (IBA Ride).
It is totally up to you....
Hope that helps
I am doing the Border run also.
Yay Ken!!!

Still, I feel a little off colour.
Leaving Wednesday Morning. Arriving Friday arvo.
I will be running late if I am running at all. Around 5pm.

So a newbie question. I hope it's okay to ask. This is so I can put the Border Run on my calendar for 2024.
From my reading, the Border Run is where riders gather at Border Village this coming weekend. Am I correct in understanding there is no time limit for the ride there? That the purpose of the event is to be there? So, for example, in theory, I could leave my home in Brisbane on Monday and cruise down over a week to meet at Border Village then blast home afterwards? Or is the intention to complete the journey within a certain timeframe?
Again, apologies if this question is silly. I just can't find the answer when I look online and perhaps I'm not the only one asking. Definitely putting it on my diary for 2024. Cheers

That is correct. Plenty of people make it an Ironbutt challenge, since most easterners travel more than 1610kms to get there. And there have been FarRider check-in people there in the past. But the "owners" of the event don't mandate any special requirements except you be there on the date.
Ride safe everyone.
See you Saturday, unless we cross paths on the road :)

I'm a DNF, charging system problems. Fortunately I was able to limp back to Perth. Still, gutted. Ride well everyone!
