All,
I'll be travelling over to the UK then the IOM for the TT fortnight next year. I'm sending the Bumblebee across and collecting it a fortnight before practice week starts. I'll be meeting up with 5 Brit mates and we've organised accommodation and ferry tickets.
I'm all ears to hear from anyone thats been there and have any tips on what to watch out for, best viewing places and stuff like that.
Cheers

You know how to make a guy jealous..
Ive not been to IOM, but be ready for some speeds we never get to use here at home legally being the norm over there.
After riding a couple multi dy long distance rallies over there, my experience was to add a third to your normal fuel consumption and that will be reality. It may not be such an issue if you guys are just touring though.
We watched from Creg Ny Baa which was pretty good.

I've devoured any videos of the course I can find and the famous sections of track will be on the list. Bray Hill (which is where our hotel is), Union Mills, Glen Helen, Kirk Michael, Ramsey, The Gooseneck, The Bungalow, Windy Corner, Creg Ny Baa, Hilberry and so on. One of the guys I'm meeting up with has done it before although without taking his bike across. I should add that I was never going to do that and after looking at hiring a bike, it was much cheaper to take the Bumblebee across. I'm aiming to get a Saddlesore done in the week before heading across and another once back in the UK (no I can't do one on the IOM due to the speed limits in place at that time).
Looking forward to it no end.
