I recently picked up a 3 cylinder bike with a plan to take it for a ride. The 2008 Tiger 1050 has, well, terrible OEM lights.
TigerBill and I amused ourselves and bolted on a couple of sets of LEDs. 2x25W triggered straight from the battery so available anytime and pointed to enhance the low beam. 2x35W triggered by the high beam. Each pair on their own relay and switch.

Wonderful that you and TigerBill are spending some of this miserable weather working on such a worthwhile project!
My son is thinking seriously about selling his Tiger 1050. I was thinking how much I would like it as a 2nd bike, but my dear wife says a firm "No". His work and social life seem to be in the way of motorcycling. With his pending marriage and overseas deployment in 2023, his enthusiasm for riding has taken a back seat. His fiance and her family are "horse" people, so his future is more likely to be dominated by horse-float towing. He is happy for me to collect the bike and ride it whenever I want. Maybe if I play my cards right, possession might be "9/10ths of the law" and I might get to enjoy the riding ::)

I've always found it easier to ask for forgiveness than permission ;)
