Just asking ..

Is there any reason why we are still referring to up and coming rides to meet/eat as:
FarRide Centre #6 - Port MacDonell
FarRide #76 - Hebel
FarRide #77 - Tidal River, etc.

Correct me if I am wrong, these rides are not FarRides, and they are not official Far Road rides, as they will not start until early 2023.

There are really casual Rides To Meet (RTM's) or Rides To Eat (RTE's) where check-in's are NOT required.

So can remove the FarRide prefix/number and just call them:
Ride To Meet (or Eat) - Port MacDonnell, etc.

Exactly right. Remember though that the rides were posted up a month or so ago, the paint was still fresh and most of us were still coming to grips with the whole situation.

LDM = Long Distance Meet sounds about right to me.
I'll make the changes soon.

I guess that means no start docket. Weather permitting I will be doing both Port Macdonnell and Tidal River. With no start docket I will be leaving Newcastle about eightish on Friday wander south and make up my mind which way to go as I go and take a chance with a motel room somewhere around Bendigo, Ballarat or Ararat. Then onto Port.

I've stayed at Carboni's in Ballarat a couple of times; rooms attached to an Italian restaurant.

Although I'm not sure that I'm going now due to the flooding an excavation orders around the Ballarat/Shepparton areas. Will be making a decision on Tuesday.
