Hi all.  What was a last FarRide morphed into a 1000km in 24 hrs with lunch.  Left home Friday lunch time aiming for a northeastern loop of Tassie.  Got as far as 10 km from Bicheno and the increasing rain and dark clouds had me turn around.  Spent the 840 km dodging dark clouds but ended up being some of the best riding conditions, as in warm and wind free.   Saturday was a different day.  Cooler and wet.  An early 95km, home for coffee and upto Oatlands to meet Matt (Zedd Ess) and FM Courtney, who rode down for lunch.  Given all the rain was up north they were happy to brave the elements just for lunch.  The heavens opened up while were having lunch, overflowing the gutters in about 5 mins flat, thankfully easing off as we headed home.  Good to ride and maintain what we have been doing in Tassie 3 times a year for 10+ years.  Thanks  Carsten

Thanks for the RR Carsten. Wet weather, wet weather, wet weather! Gotta luv our sunburnt country huh! Good to see our Tassie brethren continuing a long standing LD tradition. Onya's!
