And if you do participate and nominate a spot, let me know if you have a preferred destination.

To see where the regions are delineated, check the Victorian Government Regions site https://www.rdv.vic.gov.au/victorias-regions

I'd be keen for anywhere in south Western Victoria, Wimmera or Mallee. The Border Inn hotel in Apsley is open again after a car drove through it a couple of years ago. Happy for somewhere further east. Bare in mind Victorian school holidays end on the 5th October and the 5th and 12th are South Australian school holiday Saturdays. The 19th is the Moto GP weekend too.

 :o

I have a commitment from the 18th to 25th so looks like the earliest given all of those date constraints would be that first weekend of November.

And thanks for the suggested GZ and I will note that it is in the Grampian region (according to this website https://www.rdv.vic.gov.au/victorias-regions.

Cheers

Could also head a little north to Rainbow. It has a pub, motel and camping reserve for people wanting to stay a night. Also in the Grampians region.

I'll put a hand up for the top 4 options i.e SE SA or SW Victoria.

There's a nice pub at Frances (approx 70 kms from Bordertown) on the SA/VIC border. Accommodation as well, if you wanted to overnight.

Omeo is a good over night town. Good accommodation and a good pub. Also the town is very bike friendly.

There is a Southern Cross Distance Riders ride in November to the Gibbsland, that can encompass an overnight stay in Omeo. Which is one of my favourite places to stay too.

I mistakenly voted for South East South Australia. I meant the Hume/Vic Highlands.
