Another one completed.  1020 km.  Due to the cold and potential of icy roads I started Friday lunch time and just rode the Midlands Hgh to Rocky Cape Roadhouse and returned home for 730 km.  Beautiful riding, temps around 10, down to -1.5.  Left at 7.30 a.m. on Saturday, cranked up every heated thing I had and headed north.  It never got above 0 (down to -4 in the fog) but the road was dry through to Launceston.  Beautiful cold sun.  A few dodgy, icy bits from George Town to Scottsdale and a great meal and catch up with Fatty Mick and Matt.  Was an enjoyable 1020 km, being warm and snuggly I got to appreciate the icy white out and how stunning it looks.  Next ride 19 OCT at Evandale.  Thanks

Hard going in that weather. The ride to work in the sub zero temps is enough for me.

The October ride should be more pleasant.
