A great weekend's riding for me and Taffey. Headed to Port Augusta on Friday afternoon via various points in SA and clocked up over 700km. Some great riding in the dark but it was damn cold all day.

Headed to Blinman Saturday via Davo's memorial plaque and the Horrocks Pass, Orroroo, Carrieton and Hawker for fuel and breakfast.
Then a fabulous ride to Blinman with very little traffic.

Arrived at the North Blinman hotel to meet the other participants which totalled, 0. We did hear some bikes approaching but they turned out to be day riders from who knows where.

Either way,Taffey and I had a very enjoyable time.

Our riders having morning tea in the middle of nowhere. Kept thinking Omar Sharif would arrive from the distance on a camel...

The reason I dropped back was so I wasn't eating Taffey's dust.  8)
